dc.description.abstractThis study aims to understand what are critical success factors for operating a farmstay? This research is suitable for people who want to understand how to operate the business and people to aware of the new tourism category, agritourism. This research methodology was applied by using qualitative method. The farmstay owner participated in the interview. The results revealed that not only internal factors such as a good management, the design and the differentiation affect the business, but external components also influence the operating. Government support and viral marketing from customer and potentials have a great impact as well.-
