dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this study is to guide appropriate leadership over Generation Y, which is the best way to lead them and which one should avoid and understand about the relationship between leadership styles and performance and job satisfaction. Moreover, this paper aims to explore about the impact of leadership styles across generations which will focusing on Gen X leaders and Gen Y staffs by using several leadership theories and in-depth interview as methodology. The main result is different leaders will have different leadership styles depend on their personality, competence and qualification which are impact on staffs’ satisfaction. However, leadership has insignificantly impact on staffs’ performance in which performance depend staffs’ personal responsibility and effort. Effective leadership could increase satisfaction and effort to work among staffs as well as relationship with their leaders in order to get good outcome.-
