dc.description.abstract | These days the world is changing rapidly; digital disruption forces everyone to change. It affected from small business to even the big company that we thought it’s strong and secure. They are all being tested by technology disruption. Some firms are able to adapt themselves quickly and use technologies to develop the business; they can survive. But some are not. Like the pharmaceutical industry, that should be one of a secured business from the other’s perspective since medicine is a fundamental factor of living. Everyone needs medicine to get a good quality of life. This is, in fact; this business needs to face many obstacles as well. They need to adapt themselves suddenly when the COVID-19 comes, like other industries. And this effect creates tremendous change within and without the organization, including employees, customers, and stakeholders, especially the way of working. From the author’s observation, this change directly affects job satisfaction resulting from discus Therefore, the author decided to conduct qualitative analysis to find out deeply details from the four interviewees with different backgrounds; the company, the working experience, and the age. The result of this study has shown interesting factors that digital business engagement affected job satisfaction. And the author hopes that it would be beneficial for the readers to understand and adopt this result into their own context for competitive advantage in the future. | - |
