dc.description.abstract | Organization refers to a collection of people, who are involved in pursuing defined objectives. The organization is the relation of division of work among employees and alignment of tasks towards the goal of the company. Hence, an employee is said to be a company's asset toward organization performance and success. This paper investigates the important factors that influence employee motivation within organizations in Thailand. The study objective is to understand the essential motive factor which drives employee’s motivation to work and can gain higher performance and productivity in organization. It helps organizations be aware about the most effective employee’s motivation factor and how it impacts on both individual and organizational performance. As a result, organizations can prepare on what needs to attract new employees and how to retain the high performer employees within the organization. This research focuses on various working industries in Thailand such as, banking and financial, manufacturing, retails, trading, oil and gas, and services business-related industries. Data were collected from 80 respondents by using both questionnaire random survey as quantitative method and two additional interviewing as qualitative method. The finding of most essential results regarding employee motivation factors are attractive company remuneration packages, recognition, working environment and organizational culture and value. The most interesting finding motivation factor is recognition which has a high impact on employee performance as well as monetary factors. The great advantage of this research is not only to understand what excel employees to be more productive and performance satisfaction. But organizations can also learn to become sustainable and professional human capital development organizations in the long run. | en_US |
