dc.description.abstractIn this thematic paper, examining female leaders' experiences in the construction industry in Thailand is clarified in terms of barriers they have faced, the management style they have used, and their followers' perception towards their leaders. Conducting 12 interviewees with six women leaders and six followers who are currently working in the construction industry in Thailand is done by qualitative research. In conclusion, there are challenges and barriers for women leaders in this field and distinguish specific characteristics of women leaders' management in the construction sector. Therefore, the recommendation to female leaders working in the construction industry to better prepare, manage, and improve is summarized. In addition, this study gives recommendations to women who plan to be a leader to adapt to how women leaders succeed the challenges and barriers and management style in the construction industry.en_US
