dc.description.abstractThe research topic "Factors influencing flight attendants’ long-term commitment" explores various factors influencing the decision-making of flight attendants in this profession over a long period of time. It highlights motivators, work challenges, factors affecting job satisfaction, and expectations towards the career of flight attendants. Research employs qualitative methods which focus on in-depth interviews with 12 flight attendants, divided into 6 persons from low-cost airlines in Thailand and 6 persons from full-service airlines. This research has summarized the main motivating factors affecting the work of flight attendants, which in turn impact their job satisfaction. Whether it is about income, flexibility in work hours, or relationship with colleagues, dealing with pressure and unexpected situations remains a constant challenge in this profession that cannot be avoided. This research also provides recommendations and suggestions for those who are interested in pursuing a career as a flight attendant. The challenges they may encounter in this profession is also indicated. The aim is to provide useful insights for individuals considering this career path and for those already in it who wish to further develop themselves for more efficient and effective work.en_US
