dc.description.abstractBuilding a high performance culture within the organization is significantly crucial in today’s competitive global market. This paper delves into the employees’ perception towards the current HR practices and company culture to develop a high performance culture and improve employees’ well-being. Specifically, company X, one of the startup tech companies in Thailand, has been selected as a real case study for this paper because of its pattern of being an international young dynamic organization with the multi-nationalities of its employees based in different office locations across the region. Accordingly, different office locations require different HR practices to manage the workforce effectively. Hence, as an HR specialist working in the Human Resources Department at this company, it is valuable for me to gain insightful data to analyze in order to propose new HR policies or constructive strategies to provide a better experience for employees. This paper aims to (i) understand the perceptions of employees towards HR practices at company X, (ii) explore how the role of HR practices influences employee’s perceptions of the company’s culture and (iii) examine why the company’s culture can convince employees to stay. Furthermore, this paper adopted a qualitative research methodology, wherein 8 interviewees were deliberately selected from diverse office locations across various countries to serve as key informants. The semi-structured, in-depth interview stage comprised 1 Vice President, the Head of People, and 7 employees from non-Human Resources (HR) departments within Company X. Completely understanding employee perceptions of HR practices and company culture is able to establish a healthier work environment, boost productivity and build trust within the organization. Ultimately, this attempt aims to cultivate a high performance culture in order to develop employees’ productivity and well-being in the organization for sustainable growth and success.en_US
