dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this study was to identify the factors that influence students in Myanmar choosing the international education system at the secondary level in Myanmar and to analyse the most significant factors that influence their final decision. In this two-stage study, quantitative data were collected using a 5-point Likert scale survey focusing on different factors including the impact of family members, the educational cost, the location of the school, the school facilities and the exam success rate completed by 160 participants, and qualitative data were gathered from 10 participants. The quantitative results through multiple linear regression result revealed that the exam success reate (p-value =0.00), the location of the school (p-value =0.01) and the impact of family (p-value = 0.04). The qualitative findings also portrayed similar result acquried from quantiative data. These findings vividly expressed that participants were acknowledged of the factors influencing the choice of international school and benefits received through international education.en_US
