This study examines the transformation of a family business from a scrap-buying operation to a metal retailing enterprise. Through qualitative research, including interviews with key family members, the research identifies four crucial factors for success: adaptability, family collaboration, strategic relocation, and growth and expansion. The study highlights how the business adapted to market changes, utilized family strengths, and made strategic decisions regarding relocation to enhance operational efficiency and customer access. The findings offer practical insights for family businesses navigating industry transitions. The research emphasizes the importance of flexibility, cohesive family collaboration, and strategic planning in responding to challenges and seizing growth opportunities. These lessons provide a framework for other family businesses seeking long-term success and resilience in a competitive market.en_US
