Abstract: The world climate change and global warming is becoming a serious issue of the world today. As Hotel industry is one of the largest business sector to create a Carbon Footprint from their daily activities or the providing services. Therefore, the purposes of this research are to investigate the activities, practice and performance, of the hotel before and after finding out the impact and influence of the sustainable practice in hotel industry on business performance. The research utilizes the qualitative approach for data gathering, focusing on an in-depth interview with 30 hoteliers from the sample organization. The respondents for the research consist of experienced hotel staffs from the different departments and levels. The study indicated that ‘Hotel performance’ can be seen from the year-end result after participating in sustainable program. The performance show a better result in cost reduction from the lower use of energy and water and the better result from the waste management. In addition, the performance in term of business still unable to measure due to many factors can affect to the increasing number of the hotel customer.
