Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to conceive the factors that influence dog owners in making decision to buy dog treat for their dogs. Secondly, to found out the gender difference in buying behavior of dog treat in Bangkok. Hypotheses were tested by questionnaire and collect data from 207 respondents who has at least one dog and currently live in Bangkok. The finding of this research showed that certified, suitability, benefit, brand, ingredient and nutrition are the important factors that mainly impact on the dog owners to purchase dog treat. In addition, male dog owners are more concern on price, dog’s shape and store’s staff recommendation than female dog owners.
