Abstract: | Due to the epidemic of COVID-19, organizations around the world including Thailand were forced to change the way of operation during the lockdown period. Work from home is the solution for many organizations. This unexpected change might affect the employees in many aspects, and one important of them is job satisfaction. This research intends to provide the solutions to the organizations which face the problem of employees' satisfaction during the WFH period by using the job design and motivation to find out job satisfaction. The method for the research is a quantitative research methodology via a survey questionnaire under the framework of the Job Characteristics Model and Maslow's hierarchy of needs. The research found the influencing factors of employees' job satisfaction during the WFH period. The direct influencing factors are task identity, autonomy, selfesteem, and social, and indirect influencing factors are feedback, self-actualization, and safety. |
