Guided in-depth interviews were performed with 20 employees of the company including two executive manager/owners, two managers, and 16 employees. While there are both Generation X and Generation Y interviewees in managerial positions, the remaining 16 employees were all Generation Y. Thematic analyses were performed on transcribed material of the interview sessions. The findings of this study suggested that the prominent differences between Generation X and Generation Y were their fulfillments of self-esteem and self- actualization. This study also found minor discrepancies between the fulfillment of other needs including psychological needs, safety needs, and belongingness and love needs.
