Abstract: This research paper aims to analyze the cause of turnover within the case study of family run business. The researcher use quantitative method to study the relationship between Maslow’s Hierarchy Needs Framework and staff motivation. As the last four years of the case company are In this paper will use five tiers of needs within the framework to clarify the perception from employees toward the company’s policy. Based on findings, there are two clear issues that came out from the questionnaires: the problem of salary and the potential career growth. Therefore, the researcher provides two suggestions in order to tackle those issues. This action will be useful for owner of the business to implement and change their policy in order to prevent the problem of potential staff turnover that can be occur in the future which will avoid the performance of the organization from the staff shortage.
