Abstract: The primary purpose of this study is to identify the factors that impact employees’ lower job performance in the family business. The family business has faced financial problems due to external factors such as economics and inflation, which are difficult to solve; however, at the same time, the employees in the organization tend to neglect, absenteeism increases, and lower performance affects a decrease in sales. The research was conducted through in-depth face-to-face interviews with ten employees and separated into two groups, high-power and low-power. The results showed that the two groups of employees have moderate levels of job commitment, job satisfaction, job motivation, the hierarchy of needs, and the two-factor theory with various factors that the business could address.
