Abstract: This thematic paper aims to estimate the intrinsic value of Taokaenoi Food & Marketing Public Company Limited using the discounted cash flow (DCF) valuation approach. The company operates in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector, specializing in seaweed snack products with a strong international presence. The valuation is based on an in-depth analysis of the company’s business model, revenue structure, cost efficiency, and key growth drivers, including export expansion, product innovation, and operational efficiency. Financial projections are developed using historical performance data, industry benchmarks, and conservative assumptions regarding revenue growth, cost structure, and capital requirements. The DCF valuation is conducted using the free cash flow to the firm (FCFF) framework and is complemented by relative valuation methods to assess the reasonableness of the intrinsic value estimate. Key assumptions reflect industry-consistent growth expectations, margin improvement supported by operational efficiency, and a weighted average cost of capital derived from the company’s capital structure and risk profile. The valuation results indicate that the intrinsic value derived from the DCF analysis exceeds the company’s prevailing market price at the time of the study, suggesting potential undervaluation. This conclusion is further supported by relative valuation, which shows that the company is trading at attractive multiples compared with industry peers under reasonable growth assumptions. Overall, the findings suggest that Taokaenoi exhibits solid fundamentals and export-driven growth potential, while a cautious investment perspective remains appropriate for medium- to long-term investors given prevailing market conditions.
