Abstract: This paper will discuss about how we can manage the changes over a new IT system implementation in regional level more effectively. In this research, the actual situation in Holcim Services Asia Company, Google Business Apps implementation in APAC region was discussed as the key case study for IT implementation in regional level. The information was gathered through interviewing approach and the lessons learned from the Google Business Apps implementation in other Holcim region also were considered. The case was analyzed through the change management framework; Kotter’s 8 strategic eight-step model for transforming organizations. Problems and limitations applying this framework were discussed from a practical point of view. Recommendations when applying the framework on a practical setting were made. A change process in the regional level that affects the large number of people is extremely complex. Not only the change management in organization, but also the specific factors we need to consider carefully. We should understand our region, culture, impact on various organizational policies and directives, mix of IT users and non-IT users who will be affected by an implementation. The different local languages and locations in each country for communication and training need to identify. KEY WORDS: change management/ regional level/ kotter's 8-step change model
