Abstract: Leadership has many theories to be adopted for managing followers. Servant leadership is one of the leadership approaches to managing followers. This concept aims to serve and develop followers more than control them. Servant leaders manage their followers according to the differences that might depend on age, gender, and personality style. Young leaders in general prefer a style that focuses on relationships, teamwork, and two-way communication. Therefore, it is interesting to find out how young leaders deploy the servant leadership concept to manage their followers, how they behave with their followers, and what is the outcome for them and their followers.
