Abstract: The pharmaceutical industry faces the challenge of attracting and retaining top talent in a competitive job market. The demand for skilled professionals is high, requiring companies to focus on employee satisfaction to foster retention. However, failure to fulfill these needs leads to employees seeking better opportunities. This study explores factors impacting retention and applies Maslow's hierarchy of needs and transactional leadership to enhance satisfaction, loyalty, and retention. Understanding and addressing these needs contribute to organizational success.
